Knitting for charity

I hadn't made this a resolution, but it sure is one way to reduce the stash and knit more. I'm thinking of knitting a scarf for the Red Scarf Project. I'll see what I have in my stash. Besides ribs, what would be a gender-neutral stitch pattern?

Seed stitch might be nice. A garter scarf would work well too though!

lolly beat me to it! seed stitch is good... i made a scarf for my dad that was a combination of seed stitch and ribbing

i bet that cables would work in a small gauge, depending on if you want a mindless or a challenging knit!
